#159: Archival Psycho Spider (#6 in Hitchcock series)
The most terrifying and certainly the bloodiest of Hitchcock's movies is Psycho. Bar none. It is creepy on so many levels, from Norman's peeping Tom behavior to the infamous murder scene (and what Norman does to cover up his trail) to the Bates house on the hill. The remake starring Anne Heche and Vince Vaughn follows the original story line but is far more graphic. This spider has hints of mint green because mint is a color that I associate with offices of the 1950s, and I love the office scene at the opening of the film.
