I tried my hand with some Fimo/Sculpey clay and a recently acquired clay mold for the moon face, but it wasn't originally meant for this project. I save all sorts of small objects that I know I'll eventually use for something. Blue and gold are so pretty together, and the hematite stars are maybe far-fetched for spider pincers...but not for this project.
