#224: Nesting Spider

I started out with a shiny silver metal finish on this swallow nest pendant but then chose a dark (antique bronze finish) and things went in a direction I wasn't crazy about. The spider was too dark. The beads I chose for the legs were too dark. And the spider, thus, wasn't saying anything to me. I started to think of the legs as branches--golden boughs--with leaves and a bird. So I repainted and added a patina finish to the swallow nest and rebeaded the legs for a much better outcome.
