#268: Red Termite Spider

Next to working with metal beads, I love working with wood beads. Wood makes the spiders look more realistic and has a natural simplicity. And of course, metal gives the spiders the look of something almost alien and robotic, other-worldly. I think that I typically make a lot of blue spiders, so I try to get away from that from time to time.

Materials: round and tear-drop red wooden beads, red/black/white striped E beads, red glass seed beads, black and red striped bugle beads, gold wire
